Is it okay to wash my 7 week puppy with dog shampoo?

i don’t have any puppy shampoo at the moment, but i do have dog shampoo. It doesnt say anything about not being suitable for puppys, and it is mildy scented. Will this be okay?

You shouldn’t even be in possession of a 7-week old puppy. They are still needing the antibodies from their mother’s milk at that age. You shouldn’t even have it til it’s at least 10 wks old. Whoever let you get it this early is NOT a very responsible breeder.
As to a bath, I wouldn’t recommend one until about3 months old, and then only with a mild puppy flea soap.
Don’t mess your dog up before you get started..At it’s young age, you should have it Vet checked to be sure of it’s health, and the vet can give you a milk substitute that will help the pup for the next few weeks.. Good luck.
