dog grooming school, how long is enough amount of time to properly learn?

i attended a 4 week one and it did not help, i am considering a 9 week course. but honestly….how long is enough time to properly learn all the skills?

I wouldn’t waste your money on another school like that. The few really good ones you go to school for months not weeks. It is lifetime of learning & schools don’t teach you the everyday stuff either. At this point you would be better off working as an apprentice or starting as a bather & working your way up. You also have to want to learn on your own by going to shows or attending grooming trade shows & seminars & researching & learning things like proper nutrition & skin issues etc. to be an actual well rounded knowledgeable groomer not just a person who cuts dogs hair.
